Robert descends from a long line of funeral directors, but did not originally intend to go into the funeral industry. That all changed when he began working for his uncle’s funeral home during summer break in college. Helping and comforting families during their greatest time of need proved to be second nature. From then on, he knew he wanted to be a funeral director. Rob graduated from Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service in Atlanta in 2005. For 15 years, he worked as a funeral director in Georgia before coming up to Biddeford to join our team. Rob loves the outdoors and takes full advantage of the many open-air activities Maine has to offer including skiing, trail running, and hiking.
Funeral Practitioner Trainee
Hannah originally pursued a career in art and has a BFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, NY. However, after losing a close friend in 2016, she instead chose to go back to school to become a funeral director. She worked two years as a funeral assistant in Connecticut before moving to Biddeford to start her apprenticeship while attending FINE Mortuary College in Massachusetts. In her spare time, she continues to practice drawing and graphic design. Hannah is the oldest of four children.
Office Manager
Phyllis joined the Hope Memorial Chapel family in January 2019. After many years in the real estate business, Phyllis brings a number of years of experience serving with the York County Board of Realtors and Maine Association of Realtors. Her general hobbies include antiquing and reading.
Her favorite part about of living in the Biddeford/Saco area has been watching her two sons Tyler and Neil grow up in the area and participating and attending in all of their sports related activities. She has made a number of lasting friendships in her 27 years of living in the area.

Deanne was born in Maine and has called Biddeford her home for over 20 years. She has volunteered with McArthur Library, worked the election polls, and been a member of the Tri-City Community Chorus. She enjoys singing, reading, baking and travelling. She has lived in many places, including China for almost 4 years, where she and her family of 6 were able to travel around Asia. She and her family also spent 6 weeks in Spain, hiking the El Camino de Satiago, which was the adventure of a lifetime.
Funeral Director/Embalmer
Originally from Providence, Rhode Island, Rebecca joined the Hope Memorial Chapel family in March of 2020. Rebecca has been in the funeral industry for 10 years, spending the last two as a licensed funeral director. She attended mortuary school at Mount Ida College, in Newton, Massachusetts.
Rebecca has been involved with numerous organizations such as Big Picture Learning (MET School) as a funeral mentor for 8 years which involves working with high school students educating them on the death care profession, and hosting grief support groups.
In her spare time, she enjoys stargazing, beach visiting, Star Wars, rock collecting, herb gardening, seashell collecting, and amateur sailing (she's still learning the ropes).
She and her husband Liam have two dogs Admiral and Calypso.
