Mr. Roy Theriault, 70, of Alfred, passed away Sunday, March 14th, 2021 following an extended illness.
Roy was born August 2nd, 1950 in Woodland, Maine to Hector Theriault and Geneva (Thibodeau) Theriault.
Roy married the love of his life, Charlene LeBlanc Theriault on August 25th, 1972 at St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford.
Roy took great pride in his work as a foreman for the Baker Company in Sanford, giving 110% until his medical retirement at age 61.
Roy enjoyed making people laugh, cars, especially Mustangs, and loved being on his tractor. His biggest love was for his family, especially his grandkids and loving wife, Charlene. He will be cherished for his light hearted nature and his sense of humor.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents Hector and Geneva Theriault, brother Sheldon Theriault and brother Larry Theriault.
Roy is survived by his wife Charlene Theriault of Alfred; son and daughter-in-law Rusty and Melissa Theriault of Lyman; daughter and son-in-law Tracy Theriault and David Evans of Sanford; grandchildren Ian Theriault, Benjamin Allen, Thomas Allen, Ava Theriault, and Emelia Theriault. Siblings Robert Theriault, Viola Shirley, Diane Lancaster, and Arlene Jurgewich.
Calling hours will be held at Hope Memorial Chapel Saturday, April 10th, 2021 from 12:00PM-2:00PM. A private service outside of Mass will be held at Hope Memorial Chapel prior to the public calling hours. Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel.
