Raymond R. Boucher
Raymond R. Boucher, 66, of Arundel, ME passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was born in Biddeford on November 10, 1954, son of Yvon and Rachel Boucher.
Following graduation from Biddeford High School, Ray went on to trade school. This eventually led him to his job as a Millwright Machinist at B&M Baked Beans in Portland, ME. Raymond met his wife, Helene Bolduc, in October of 1979. They wed on September 12, 1980 in St. Andre’s Church in Biddeford and went on to have two children.
Throughout his life, Ray was known for his love of the outdoors, and he could often be found snowshoeing or duck hunting out on Saco Bay. Being a gun enthusiast, Ray was also proud member of the NRA and the Sanford Springvale Gun Club.
Most importantly though, Ray loved being around family and friends. He was the loudest cheerleader at his children’s sporting events, and he always looked forward to nights around the table playing poker or cribbage with his friends.
Left to cherish Raymond’s memory is his wife of 40 years, Helene Boucher of Arundel; daughter, Sarah Boucher, and her husband, Ernie Brown of Westbrook; son, Zachary Boucher, and his wife, Keedrian, of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Elle Boucher, Lydia Boucher, and Lucas Boucher; siblings, Ronald “Ronnie” Boucher, and Denise Fournier; best friends, Gary Paquette, Ben Fournier, and Malcolm Greene; and a host of extended family members and friends.
Hope Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with Raymond’s care, and a graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
