Lucille Lilianne (Dumas) Crepeau, 89, of Londonderry, NH, formerly of Biddeford, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020 at her home. Mrs. Crepeau was born on August 18, 1930 in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of George and Yvonne (Ayotte) Dumas.
On April 7, 1951, Lucille married the love of her life, her husband Walter G. Crepeau in the former Notre Dame de Lourdes Church in Saco. Together, they celebrated 48 years of marriage and went on to raise four children. They started and ran several business’, most notably, The Farm Store and Quality Foodland for many years, retiring in 1977, where they ventured south to Bradenton, Florida for many winters.
Her hobbies include playing cards, sewing, quilting, gardening, cooking, and making rosaries. She most enjoyed serving the public and in her glory, at the Farm Store, making “pork pies” or tourtières at the holidays. She could always make a meal for a group at a moment’s notice from anything in the pantry.
Lucille is survived by two daughters, Irene Crepeau of Londonderry, NH, and
Gisele Nedeau and her husband Mark of Kennebunk, and two sons, Conrad
Crepeau and his wife Pamela of Naples, ME and Denis Crepeau and his wife Linda of Biddeford, ME, as well as 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. One sister, Rita Fecteau, and her husband Gilles of NH., also, a brother Fred and his wife Tina of NH.
She was predeceased by her husband Walter Crepeau in 1999, her parents George and Yvonne Dumas, a sister, Annette Lavasseur, and four brothers: Raymond, Robert, Normand, and Richard Dumas.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Hope Memorial Chapel, from 9:00AM to 11:00AM, with a funeral service beginning at 11:00AM. Burial will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
