Linda M. Hajjar, 61, of Arundel went to be with Our Lord on Thursday, January 14, 2021. Born in Biddeford, she was the daughter of Lucille E. and Wilfred Labbe. She was educated by the Arundel and Biddeford Public School systems and briefly pursued an education in Law at University of Maine Law School.
Linda was a devoted Christian who knew that the way to feel Christ’s love was through complete devotion to not only her church, but to her fellow humans. She took pride in knowing every person she met, inside and out. She was a special woman who knew that with understanding and patience, came love and kindness. Her faith in God and love for people defined her life and will cause her to be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her fortitude gave her the drive to push through countless treatments and heartbreaks during her two-year battle with leukemia.
Linda was an incredible woman who would really get to know you and remember you. Everyone who knew her, knew how truly special she was. She was a dedicated mother to her boys, David Albert and Justin Pierce. When her boys decided to build their own families, she jumped at the chance to be an equally devoted grandmother.
Linda was married to Douglas Hajjar her loving husband of twenty years.
She was preceded in death by Wilfred and Lucille Labbe and her Brother Guy.
She is survived by: her husband Douglas Hajjar, sons David Albert and his wife Diane, Justin Pierce and wife Melissa, Her grand children Isis, Jackson and Jordan, her brothers Don Labbe and wife Sandra, Maurice Labbe and wife Melissa, and Janice Labbe, nieces Suzanne, Jessica, Katherine, Morgan and Melanie and Nephew Dan Labbe.
A memorial service at New Life Church Biddeford will announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Dana Farber Cancer Center in Linda’s name.
