Mr. Leonard Joseph Lasczak Jr. 74, of Lyman, passed away on Friday April 23rd, 2021 at Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough.
Leonard was born April 7th, 1947 in South Norwalk, Connecticut to Leonard Joseph Lasczak Sr. and Mrs. Catherine Pauline Lavallee Lasczak.
He married his wife Donna Simpson Lasczak on August 1st, 1970 in Biddeford.
After graduating high school Leonard joined the United States Army. After his service in the Army, Leonard joined the United States Air Force spending his career serving as a Master Sargeant.
He was involved in the American Legion in Old Orchard Beach.
In Len’s younger years he enjoyed doing sports car rallies. Leonard loved fishing and was a member of numerous fishing clubs. He competed in many tournaments, gaining many trophies along the way.
Leonard is preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Catherine Lasczak and Sofie, the family’s beloved Shih-Poo dog.
Leonard is survived by his wife Donna Lasczak of Lyman; daughter and son-in-law Melissa and Maurice Labbe of Lyman; son Michael Lasczak of Biddeford; Grandchildren Morgan and Melanie Labbe of Lyman.
Visiting Hours will 9:00 a.m-11:00 a.m on Monday, May 3rd, 2021 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm Street, Biddeford, ME 04005. A Funeral outside of Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at Hope Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in the Southern Maine Veterans Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. in Springvale.
