Obituary

Alice R. Paquette, 91, of Biddeford passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 27th, 2020 at the Landing at Saco Bay, following a long battle with Alzheimer/Dementia.

She was born on September 4th, 1929, daughter of Edmond and Marie (Letellier) Roy and attended local schools. 

On June 24h, 1950, she married Robert J. Paquette at St. Andre’s Church.

As a young girl, she worked at White Star Laundry and Lunder Shoe.  She left work to become a full-time homemaker and mother.

Her hobbies include going out every Friday night with her sisters until just last year.  She loved family gatherings and was the family taxi driver, we could always count on mom to give anyone a ride if needed.  She loved to sing, and you could catch her dancing whenever there was music. She also enjoyed talking on her CB radio using the handles Alice and Fallen Angel.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, and her siblings Paul Roy, Arlene Grenier and Annette Gregoire.

She is survived by her sister Doris Dube of Saco, her children Gary Paquette of Saco, Gail Lemieux of Biddeford, and Randy and his wife Carole Paquette of Biddeford. Grandchildren Crystal Antocicco, Karen Rhodes, Derek, Dale, and Brad Lemieux, Shaunna Paquette, Matt Drown, and Kaylee Hale.  Great grandchildren Cassandra Antocicco, Ryleigh Paquette, Sierra Hodge, Bentley and Brayden Hale, Harper Drown, and Travon Rhodes.  Many nieces and nephews and all of her friends at the Landing at Saco Bay!

Due to COVID-19 restrictions a mass and inurnment will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel.
