Theodore B. Lenz, 99, of Kennebunk Maine passed on at Gosnell Memorial Hospice
House in Scarborough Maine on August 12, 2018.
Theodore (Teddy) was born January 22, 1919 to Theodore F. Lenz and Katherine B.
(Bitzer) Lenz in Boston MA. He was predeceased by his wife, Lois G. (Hall) Lenz of 61 years.
He is survived by his daughters Susan L. Cashman, Sharon K. Roley and his son in law
Robert R. Cashman. Teddy leaves behind four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He is survived by his sister Barbara K. (Lenz) Baker of Buzzards Bay, MA. Teddy was a resident
of Westwood, MA for 65 years. He was a devoted husband and father. He loved his family
and time spent with them up until his final days.
Teddy attended Mechanic Arts High School and Wentworth College in Boston.
He was a professional cabinetmaker working for Scott and Duncan in Boston
until he retired at 67.
Teddy was a World War II veteran landing on Omaha Beach, June 6, 1944. He
experienced the liberation of Paris and many other WWII events and battles.
He never saw General Patton but he was in his army. He also stayed after the war
to help the German people.

Graveside service will be held on Thursday August 16, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Hope Cemetery, Kennebunk,
