Steven O. Grondin, 53 of Biddeford, died Monday, November 26, 2018, at Maine Medical Center in Portland. Born September 24, 1965 in Biddeford, a son of Conrad “Babe” and Rita (Beaudoin) Grondin. He was educated at St. Joseph’s Catholic School and Biddeford High School.
He had been employed with the State of Maine Turnpike Authority for 15 years and spent many hours plowing until the roads were “bare and wet.”
Steve lived for men’s slow-pitch softball. He brought great guys together to form deep friendships. He would travel to Florida yearly with his team for the World’s Tournament. Steve also mentored many who will miss him greatly. He also loved summers at Mousam Lake with his kids and close friends, boating and towing kids on the tube. Most of all he loved to spend time with his children, grandchildren, and family.

Along with several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday November 30, 2018 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm Street, Biddeford, ME 04005. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday December 1, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St Joseph’s Church. Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
