Robert A. LaRose 60 of Biddeford, passed away peacefully on Thursday November 21, 2019 surrounded by his family, after a long valiant battle with cancer. He was born June 23, 1959 to Richard and Jeanne (Champagne) LaRose. Educated in the Biddeford schools, and going on to earn a Master's Degree at the School of Hard Knocks.
A self employed contractor as he referred to himself Jack of all trades master of none. Quite to the contrary he was a skilled carpenter and all around handyman, who approached his work with laser focus. Just 4 short weeks before he died Bob his Son Joshua and his brother Gerry along with some dear friends completed a new metal roof on the house so they would not have to shovel it in their golden years. People who knew him well, knew his deepest passion was his love for Jesus Christ. It was his abiding Faith in the Lord that carried him through many turbulent times in his life, many Biblical debates and including his path to recovery and living a sober life for the last 7 years.
Preceding him in death was his youngest brother Peter W LaRose of the U.S. Army who died November 4, 1980 while serving our country overseas and his Father Richard LaRose.
Surviving Bob are his mother Jeanne LaRose Barden and her husband Charles of Lyman. Mother-in-law Dianne Sweeney of Fulton New York. Wife Karen, daughter Annamaria, and Son Joshua of Biddeford, and brother Gerard and wife Elizabeth LaRose of Biddeford. Aunts, Uncles, many cousins, niece and nephews and many devoted friends. With deep gratitude the family wishes to thank the Outstanding Beacon Hospice Team for steering the ship, and navigating us through this heartbreaking time while providing the best possible care at home. Finally to our neighbors for your kindness and delicious meals. Thanksgiving leaves us saddened by our loss and truly grateful and blessed for the outpouring of love and prayers. Burial services will be held at St Joseph's Cemetery on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 12:00 noon.
