Patrick L. Fecteau, 32, of Biddeford, died unexpectedly June 5, 2019 at his residence in So. Portland. He was born August 21, 1986 in Portland, a son of Lucien and Catherine (Mininni) Fecteau. He attended Biddeford schools.
Patrick had been employed with Biddeford Painting. He attended East Point Christian Church in So. Portland.
During his youth he excelled at Baseball and Hockey. He played baseball during his youth as a pitcher for the Maine Express where he and his team played in Cooperstown, NY. In August 1999 he and his team were inducted into the Cooperstown American Youth Baseball Hall of Fame. Because of Patrick’s talents on the field his cleats and homerun ball are kept in the museum. He also played hockey for the New Hampshire Spartans. He dreamed of playing in the NHL. His passion though, was spending as much time with his son Owen as possible, playing sports and just hanging out. According to Owen they especially loved singing at the top of their lungs and seat dancing in the van to great music. Owen says they just loved to goof off together.
Patrick was such an outgoing and funny man! He always made people laugh and people who met him immediately liked him. He resided at Friendship House and his many housemates really enjoyed being with him. We were told that he was the only one who could get along with everyone in the house. They all loved and respected Patrick and Patrick loved all of them. We’ve been told that he was the perfect resident and housemate and was really focused on working on himself. He will be missed by them.
Time does march on, and Patrick’s memory will live, in the minds and hearts of his son Owen, Mother & Jerry, his Father & Celeste, Lizzy, Randy and everyone knew. He will always be here. He will always be there, he’s an angel among us.
Patrick was predeceased by his brother Matthew in 2016 and by his grandparents Vito and Elizabeth Mininni and Leandre Fecteau.
