Margaret P. Brush, 81, of Biddeford, passed away on November 7, 2019 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House. She was born on April 3, 1938 in Danville, Quebec to parents Alphonse and Bertha (Auger) Lebel.
Margaret was married to Lee Brush on May 26, 1979 in Wolcott, Connecticut. For many years she worked as the only certified female welder in the State of Connecticut at Napier Jewelers. She later went on to get her degree as a registered nurse and took great pride in working at different nursing homes before her retirement. In her free time, Margaret enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, crafts of all kinds, especially crocheting, cooking, and games of chance from Bingo to playing the slots at Oxford Casino.
Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Lee Brush;
daughter, Diane Bishop; grandchildren, Jacob Tatro, and his significant other, Tracie Cyr, and Chelsea Tatro; great grandson Jaxon Tatro; brother, Roland, and his wife Constance, Lebel; sister Celine, and her husband Lucien, Middleton; sister in law; Bonnie, and her husband, Walter Maier, and many nieces and nephews.
Margaret is predeceased by her son Richard Poulin and her brother Arthur Lebel.
There will be no visiting hours, and a graveside service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 11:00am at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Margaret’s name to the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital, 22 Bramhall St., Portland, ME 04102.
