Hubert Marshall Clayton Favreau

August 1, 1937 ~ January 25, 2018 (age 80)

Hubert Marshall Clayton Favreau passed from this life Thursday 1/25/18, at Kennebunk Nursing Home, accompanied by family.  He was born August 1, 1937 in Moores, NY, a son of Arthur and Harriett (Belrose) Favreau and grew up in Champlain, NY with his four brothers and three sisters. He attended school in Champlain, and briefly worked for the family business.

Hubert married Phyllis Marie Emerson on September 13, 1958, later moved to Biddeford, ME, where together they raised two daughters. 

Hubert was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather, and was an avid hobbyist.  In earlier years, Hubert enjoyed fishing and hunting, and in later years enjoyed gardening, antique bottle digging, rock mining, jewelry making, and painting.  Hubert was a skilled machinist, whose career began with Maremont Corporation, Saco, ME;  He retired from a long time career w/Gabriel Electronics, Scarborough, ME.

Surviving are:

         His wife Phyllis Marie Favreau, currently residing at Berwick Estates, South Berwick, ME

         His elder daughter Pauline, and husband Marc Leblanc of Biddeford, ME

         His younger daughter Shirley, and husband John D’Antonio of Kittery, ME

         His grand daughter Jessica Leblanc, and husband Joe Rojacki, of Saco, ME

         A brother Jerome Favreau of Champlain, NY

         A brother Francis Roy Favreau, and wife Sherry of Lake Worth, FL

         A brother Richard Gary Favreau, and wife Linda of Elizabeth City, NC

         A brother Alan Dale Favreau, and wife Debbie of Chesterville, ON

         A sister Donna Longtin of Plattsburgh, NY

         A sister Diane Monty of Wassaic, NY

         A sister Debbie, and husband Dennis Leonituk of West Point, VA

         Several nieces and nephews 

Hubert’s Memorial Service was held 1/31/18 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME, followed by burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Biddeford, ME.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the special care provided by Kennebunk Nursing Home during the last two+ years.
