Hannah Johnson, 23-year-old Daughter of Gregory and Deborah Johnson, passed away on August 29th in South Korea after complications from surgery. She was a Kennebunk High School graduate, finishing in the top ten of her class and was a two-time high jump champion in Maine. She went on to receive her BS in Anthropology and Biology from the University of Miami.
Hannah was compassionate and loving. She was a scholar, an athlete, a teacher, a musician, a baker and so much more. Hannah took a big step out into the world when she chose to join her sister in Korea to teach English to Korean children; she discovered that she loved it. She was just coming into her own and figuring out her place in the world and her future looked bright.
Besides her parents, Hannah is survived by her sister and brother Hayley and Griffin Johnson, her grandmother, Barbara Johnson and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
