Germaine T. Paquet, 91, of Biddeford, died Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Evergreen Manor in Saco. She was born October 15, 1926 in Biddeford a daughter of Philippe E. and Rosilda (Gagnon) Paquet. She attended St. Andre’s School and was a 1946 graduate of St. Andre’s High School.
Germaine had worked in the family business, Factory Island Meat Market in Saco. Later, with her twin sister, she operated the Ye Sandwich Shoppe on Saco Ave. in Old Orchard Beach for 12 years, retiring in 1983.
She enjoyed reading, woodworking, stained glass work, traveling and working with her computer.
Germaine was predeceased by:
3 sisters: Simone P. Reny (and her husband Philip in 1993), Claire H. Paquet, and Lucille V. Paquet in 2007
1 brother: Phillippe E. Paquet and his wife Lorraine in 2017
Germaine is survived by
Her twin sister Fernande and her nieces and nephews Diane (Kevin) Norby, Jo- Ann (Steve) Church, Michael (Judy) Reny, Lisa (Jerry) Morin, and Albert (Lynette) Paquet and several grand nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be Friday 9:00 -10:30 a.m. at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm Street, Biddeford, ME 04005. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at St Joseph’s Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel.
