Donald R. Guillerault, 73, of Biddeford, died Monday, August 7, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born November 22, 1943 in Biddeford, a son of Raymond and Donalda (Robillard) Guillerault and was educated in Biddeford schools. Don graduated, class president, from Biddeford High School in the Class of 1964, and directed the Biddeford High School Band in his senior year.
On August 22, 1964, he married Penelope Warren in St. Mary’s Church.
He became a mechanical engineer by completing the West Point Pepperell Apprenticeship program and went to work there. He also had worked with Fairchild semiconductor and S.D. Warren before returning to West Point Pepperell where he remained the rest of his working life.
His interest in music led him to be a member of Painchaud’s Band and the Sanford-Springvale Band. He served with the Biddeford Housing Authority for many years, the Biddeford City Council (1982-1985 and 1989-1990), and School Board (1986-1987).
Donald helped to organize the Pepperell Mill Tours and was also one of the presenters.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Richard.

Don was also awaiting the arrival of his first great grandchild
He will also be missed by Hannah, his black Lab, who was always at his side.
Visiting Hours will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Hope Memorial Chapel 480 Elm Street, Biddeford, ME 04005.
