Annette (Bald) DesRoberts, 85, of Lyman, passed away on September 27, 2019 at her son’s home in Biddeford. She was born on May 30, 1934 to parents Alfred and Lena (Caron) Bald. She was educated locally, attending St. Joseph’s School in Biddeford. In February of 1955, Annette married the love of her life and husband of 64 years, Raymond DesRoberts. Together, They were foster parents for almost 23 years. Annette enjoyed her role of being a homemaker, as well as reading and writing in her spare time.
She is survived by her loving husband Raymond, two daughters; Linda Cantara of Lyman and Louise Barden and her husband Allan of Waterford, son Gerard DesRoberts and his wife Susan of Biddeford, sister Laurette Dumas of Kennebunk, nine grandchildren; Joshua, Matthew, and Jeffrey Cantara, Sarah Wooldrige, Steven, Amanda, and Eric DesRoberts, and Laura and Jason DeMoss, as well as 14 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, as well as eight brothers and sisters.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Philip’s Church, 404 Goodwins Mills Rd., in Lyman, ME, with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
