Alice Goulet, 91, of Biddeford died Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Maine Medical Center in Portland. She was born on July 7, 1926 to Lazare and Rose (Turmel) Daigle in Rumford. She graduated from Mexico, ME schools.
On September 28, 1946, she married Theodore Goulet at St. Therese Church in Mexico. They shared almost 50 years together until his death on March 31, 1996.
She began working at Pepperell Manufacturing and was there for four years. In 1961 she started at John Roberts and was a presser there for 30 years. During that time she also worked part time at Hurrell’s Variety. In 1989 she started at Paul’s Variety as a cashier. She belonged to the American Legion Axillary, Unit 26.

2 grandchildren: Vicki Pineau of Biddeford
Kevin Goulet and his wife Andrea of Charlotte, NC
1 brother: Maurice Daigle of Rumford
1 sister: Anita Daigle of Biddeford
2 great grandchildren, Alexander and Xavier
There will be no visiting hours. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Most Holy Trinity Church in Saco. Burial will be in Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta at a later date.
