Rev. Virginia C. Fleurent, 71, of Biddeford joined her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on October 25, 2012 at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford following a short illness. She was born in Biddeford on April 5, 1941 and was educated locally. She graduated from Biddeford High School with the class of 1961.
On September 12, 1964, she married Clement Fleurent at St. Mary’s Church in Biddeford.
Her employment included teaching at the former St. Andre’s School in Biddeford, bookkeeping for the family oil business and working as secretary at Saco Audiology for several years.
Rev. Fleurent served as Assistant Pastor at the Landing Church in Kennebunk and was involved in many ministries throughout her life. She enjoyed baking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Visiting Hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm Street, Biddeford. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 29, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford.
