Lucy Nolette, 97, of Biddeford, died on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Biddeford Estates surrounded by her family. She was born May 19, 1915 in Disraeli, P.Q. Canada a daughter of Louis and Ernestine (Martin) Boucher. She came here as a child and was educated at St. Andre’s School.

Lucy had been employed at the Pepperell Mfg. Co. for many years retiring in 1977.

On October 19, 1971 she married Raymond Nolette at St. Andre’s Church.

She loved doing handcrafts and also had been a volunteer at St. Andre’s Health Care Facility.

Lucy was pre-deceased by her first husband Warner Wales in 1963.
by her second husband Raymond Nolette in 2002 and also by two sisters, Yvette Roy and Lorraine Proto.

Surviving are:
a daughter: Suzanne D. Jude and her husband Robert of Lyman.

1 Sister: Pauline Landry and her husband Roland of Springvale

1 Brother: Roger Boucher and his wife Norma of Limerick

2 grandchildren: Deborah Hudson and her husband Thomas of Alfred
Gary Morin of Hiram
4 great grandchildren: Bobby, Laura, Amanda and Taylor

Visiting Hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 17, 2012 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm Street, Biddeford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at St. Anne’s Chapel of St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staffs at Biddeford Estates and Hospice of Southern Maine. We always enjoyed visits with Lucy with her cousin,my dad Bob Nolette. He and my mom,Terry had many wonderful trips with Lucy and Raymond in the past. They had great times at the Fremont Club too. She was a great lady and will be missed by everyone who knew her. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
