Joseph “Joe” M. Bridges, 47, of Old Orhcard Beach died on May 13, 2012 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. He was born in Biddeford on December 27, 1964, a son of John D. and Gloria J. (LaBrecque) Bridges. Joe attended local schools and was a 1982 graduate of Old Orchard Beach High School.
Joe served our country in the United States Navy.
He worked as a carpenter for many years.
Preceding him in death was his mother Gloria Bridges in 2008.
He is survived by his father John D. Bridges of Old Orchard Beach

A 12:00 noon graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Biddeford. Arrangements are being handled by Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. In lieu of flowers Joe’s family wishes to have donations made in memory of Joe’s mother Gloria Bridges to VFW Post 7997, 76 Atlantic Ave., Old Orchard Beach, ME 04064.
