Sally A. Gilman, 60, of Lyman, died Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 4, 1957 in Biddeford to Therese Saucier and Richard Roy. She married on April 20, 1976 and spent 41 years (almost 42) in love with her husband John Gilman, who took care of her until the day she died. She loved her daughter, Heather, her son, Sabin, and her baby dog, Lady. Each filled her heart with pride and joy. She worked many years at John Roberts and Shape Inc. but her real calling was being an amazing mother, wife, and sister. She was a special being who meant the world to many people and is now flying high with the Angels.

1 daughter: Heather Gilman and her partner Aaron Davis of Lyman
1 son: Sabin Gilman of Seattle, Washington
1 sister: Diana Faucher and her husband Gaetan Faucher of Lyman
1 niece: Christine Faucher
2 nephews: Johnny and Bobby Faucher
4 brothers: Larry, Jerry, and James Roy SR. of Biddeford and David Roy of Lyman
7 nieces: Carole Guay, Jennifer Russo-Casarez, Stephanie Baron, Lisa Chambers, Angela Roy, Brenda Roy, and Sarah Roy
4 nephews: Paul Roy, Christopher Roy, James Roy, and Nicholas Roy
As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces, great nephews…
Sally has 2 siblings who are deceased- Nelson Roy and Linda Lessard
We will be holding a celebration of life for Sally Gilman, on Saturday December 30th, 2017. It will be held at the Biddeford Eagles club (57 Birch street, Biddeford ME) from 2p-5p. There will be finger foods provided but if you wish to bring a dish- it will be welcome. There will also be a cash bar for purchase of drinks. Please come celebrate the beautiful angel we all love and adore. Please note there will be no funeral services and she will be cremated next week. All people and ages are welcome.
