Roger R. Paquette, 71, of Biddeford died Thursday, June 29, 2017 at his home, surrounded by his family, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 25, 1946 in Biddeford a son of Rosaire and Marguerite P. (Roy) Paquette. Roger was educated locally, graduating from Biddeford High School in the Class of 1964.
On June 29, 1968 he married Denise Dube in St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford.
Roger had been employed as a welder at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for 36 years, retiring in 2013.
Roger loved fishing and working with his hands: painting, gardening, building birdhouses, and metalworking. He enjoyed driving his Mustang and riding his motorcycle. His greatest joy came from time with family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by Denise, his wife of 49 years, of Biddeford

Visiting Hours will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at Hope Memorial Chapel 480 Elm Street, Biddeford, ME 04005. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
