Robert "Bob" Louis Dussault, 80, of Biddeford died on Friday, April 14, 2017 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice in Scarborough after a short illness. He was born on October 9, 1936 to Louis Joseph and Lillian Donalda (Hurteau) Dussault in Westerly, RI where he grew up and graduated from high school. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and then moved to Kansas where he lived for many years.
On his return to the East Coast, he worked as a machinist at Saco Defense before retiring in 2002. He loved boating and being on or around the water and was a member of the Saco Yacht Club where he spent many happy hours. Throughout his life, one of his passions was breathing life into old things, fixing, re-furbishing and making them new again.
He is preceded in death by a daughter, Pam Sperstad of Colorado; and his brother, Philip Joseph Dussault of East Blue Hill, Maine.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Rachel Dussault, their daughter Tammy Wilder, her husband Ryan and grand-daughter Jeniece all of Biddeford, Maine. He is also survived by his daughter Penny Hamel and her husband Brian of Salina, Kansas and his daughter Patty Jones of Salina, Kansas. In total he had ten wonderful grandchildren and ten wonderful great grandchildren some of whom had the opportunity to visit Maine and spend time with him. He also had many nieces, nephews and cousins too numerous to mention here. He will be sadly missed by all.
