Richard Trudeau

Richard Trudeau, 69, of Lyman, died at his home on Tuesday, May 2, 2017.  He was born October 2, 1947 in Biddeford, a son of Albert and Lorraine (Bergeron) Trudeau and was educated in Saco schools.  He was a graduate of Thornton Academy with the class of 1967. 

 

Mr. Trudeau served with the U.S. Marine Corps from 1967 until 1971. 

 

On August 28, 1982, he married Diane Paquette at St. Philip’s Church in Lyman.

 

Richard had been employed for 10 years with the General Electric Company in South Portland.  He then worked for 28 years as a sheet metal mechanic at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, retiring in 2006. 

 

He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed riding his tri-motorcycle.

His wife of 34 years: Diane Trudeau of Lyman

1 sister: Louise Trudeau Bisson and her husband Paul of Cape Coral, FL

3 brothers:  Donald Trudeau of Buzzards Bay, MA

          Philip Trudeau and his wife Linda of Saco

          George Trudeau and his wife Sally of Waterboro

2 brothers in law: Norman Paquette of Scarborough

          Donald Paquette and his wife Geraldine of Biddeford

Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews

 

Visiting Hours will be 3 to 6 p.m. on Monday, May 8, 2017 at Hope Memorial Chapel 480 Elm Street, Biddeford, ME 04005.   A funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.   Memorial donations may be made in his name to the American Heart Association, P.O.
