Welcome to the memorial page for

Raymond Cloutier

May 1, 1943 ~ September 28, 2017 (age 74)

Raymond Cloutier, 74, of Arundel died on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Maine Medical Center in Portland, where he received the best possible care.. He was born, the youngest of nine, on May 1, 1943 to Joseph and Marie Cloutier in Biddeford. He was educated at local schools.

On October 3, 1970 he married Gertrude Sands at the Baptist Church In Saco.

He worked as a truck driver for Bugbee & Brown and Berwick Wire & Cable until they closed. He then went on to Cyro Industries in Sanford for 21 years and retired from there due to illness. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and 4 wheeling, sometimes taking off for rides with no destination in mind. His favorite thing to do was to camp up in the North Maine Woods, which he and Gert did a lot and for many years. They met a lot of good people over the years and have two special couples that they have kept in touch with. Ray was a fun loving guy that loved to joke and talk with everyone that stopped, the door was always open. He just loved life, even through his many years of illnesses.

He is preceded in death by 4 brothers, Gerard, Andre, Paul and Edward Cloutier; and 1 sister, Juliette Danforth.
