Maurice J. Valliere, 92, a long-time resident of Biddeford, died Monday, June 12, 2017 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. He was born July 25, 1924 in Biddeford a son of Esdras and Josephine (Cloutier) Valliere. He graduated from St. Andre’s School and attended St. Louis High School.
On February 15, 1947, he married Aline Bourque in St. Andre’s Church in Biddeford.
Maurice was employed in the shipping department of Pepperell Manufacturing Co. for 38 years, retiring in 1986.
He had been a life-long member of St. Andre’s Church in Biddeford.
Maurice enjoyed working in his yard and flower gardens and every day he would take his wife to lunch at the local restaurants.
Maurice was predeceased by Aline, his wife of 66 years on January 4, 2014, and also by 6 siblings.
