Marguerite A. “Tite” Paquette, 88, of Saco, died January 9, 2017 at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford following a short illness. She was born April 16, 1928 in Biddeford, the daughter of Arthur and Marguerite (Masse) Laverriere and was educated at St. Joseph School.
On August 30, 1947, she married Joseph Robert Paquette at St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford.
Marguerite had been employed at local grocery stores, including Sneider’s and Shop & Save, retiring in 1990. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, walking and cycling, and crocheting items for the Ross Center.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Joseph Robert Paquette, October 13, 1992 and her son, Philip A. Paquette, November 5, 2005; also preceding her in death were a sister, Jacqueline Remillard and a brother, Norman Laverriere.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 14, 2017, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm Street, Biddeford followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. in the West Chapel of the funeral home.
