Lorraine L. Havey, 80 of Biddeford died Friday, December 30, 2016 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. She was born August 23, 1936 in Biddeford, a daughter of Arthur and Eva (Lambert) Boisvert and was educated locally, graduating from St. Joseph High School in the Class of 1955.
On March 18, 1967 she married Richard Havey in Kennebunk.
As a young woman she worked as an insurance underwriter, leaving that work to care for her family. When the children were older she worked as a graphic artist for the Journal Tribune, retiring in 2000.
With her husband she enjoyed going to the casinos and traveling to such places as Las Vegas and Washington, D.C. She also cherished the time she spent caring for her grandchildren.
Lorraine was predeceased by her husband Richard on January 20, 2011. Also preceding her in death were two brothers and two sisters.

Visiting Hours will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Hope Memorial Chapel 480 Elm Street, Biddeford, ME 04005.
