Portland, Maine - Kurt Miladinovic, 69, passed away Saturday, Dec. 24, 2016, at Maine Medical Center following a stroke.
Kurt was born in Germany, the son of Zivadin and Agnus. Kurt and his family moved to America when he was very young. He lived in Chicago for a portion of his life, where he worked as a cab driver. Kurt and his family later moved to Maine in 1980 and lived there for the remainder of his life.
Kurt was a great man with a passion for history, motorcycles, football and baseball. His favorite pastime was hitting the open road on two wheels. Nothing made Kurt happier than the feeling he got while riding a motorcycle. When he wasn’t hitting the road he was hitting the books. He would study everything from the gladiators of ancient Rome to the Vietnam War era. His love for history was something extraordinary. When Kurt wasn’t talking bikes or the past, he was talking about the Cubs or the Patriots.
