John A. Bilbrey, 62, of Biddeford passed away Friday, June 30, 2017 after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born November 10, 1954 in Wilder, Tennessee a son of William and Opal Bilbrey. He graduated from High School in Muncie, Indiana before enlisting into the military where he would meet the love of his life, Allison (Hunnewell) Bilbrey, whom were married on June 22, 1984.
John was a hardworking man, who loved spending time with his family, and friends. He was the type of person who never met a stranger, and always had a story to tell. His two passions in life were his time spent as a troop master in the Boy Scouts, and exploring Hawaii with his wife and kids.
John leaves behind his loving wife Allison of 33 years, four sons Jacob Tellier of Biddeford, John W. Bilbrey and his wife Hayley of North Waterboro, Clayton Bilbrey of Birdsboro, Pennsylvania , Trey Bilbrey of Biddeford , Two daughters Jacqueline Bilbrey of Biddeford and Brittany Bilbrey of Waianae, Hawaii. He loved being a Grampy to his two grandchildren Jackson and London Tellier and enjoyed relaxing with his canine companion Buttercup.
Visiting hours will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Hope Memorial Chapel 480 Elm Street, Biddeford, ME 04005.
