Donald R. Boissonneault, 79, of Arundel died on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was born on June 11, 1937 to Gerard and Josephine (Letendre) Boissonneault in Biddeford. He proudly served in the United States Army Reserve for four years, then joined the United States Navy for four years, and was honorably discharged in 1962.
On August 20, 1960, he married Therese I. Moreau at St. Joseph Church in Biddeford.
He worked at Pepperell Mfg. Co. for four years. He then spent 30 years with St. Johnsbury Trucking of Scarborough. After that he spent 12 years with Unicco Integrated Services in S. Portland before his retirement in 2007. He was very active in the local community and belonged to many organizations, including the Knights of Columbus, Arundel Eagles, Biddeford VFW, Masons of Biddeford, and Biddeford American Legion.

Visiting Hours will be 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Hope Memorial Chapel 480 Elm Street, Biddeford, ME 04005. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Joseph Church in Biddeford. Burial will be in Southern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Springvale.
