Carmen T. Janson, 79, of Biddeford died unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, February 15, 2018. She was born in Biddeford on November 23, 1938, a daughter of Marc and Lucienne (Chretien) Cote and was educated locally. She attended St. Joseph’s School and graduated from St. Joseph’s High School in 1958.
With her husband Raymond, she owned and operated Janson’s Body Shop and Gas Station and later continued to operate the gas station. She had also been employed at Hannaford’s and worked in the ticket office at Beech Ridge Speedway for 40 years.
A woman of the Church in every way, she was a devoted member of St, Joseph’s Church where she served as sacristan and also volunteered much of her time to the St. Joseph Funeral Luncheon Program. Carmen was also a long time member of the Daughters of Isabella and an avid follower of stock car racing.

There will be no visiting hours. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 26, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford.
